My Academic Journey

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from METU in 2021, where I developed a solid foundation in both product and UX/UI design. I participated in various interdisciplinary projects that helped me refine my problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and user-first mindset.

In 2025, I completed my Master’s in Integrated Design at Hochschule Anhalt with top honors. My master’s thesis was awarded with the Dessau Design Award, recognizing my ability to transform highly complex medical and technological data into an ergonomic, user-friendly product—effortlessly hiding the underlying complexity so that users could experience a seamless and intuitive design.

Throughout both programs, I focused on interdisciplinary collaboration and continuously developed my skills in digital design, acknowledging that digitalization is an essential part of modern design practice. This combination of physical and digital expertise has shaped me into a holistic designer, capable of approaching problems from multiple perspectives and crafting thoughtful, user-centered solutions.

My Approach

UX & UI as one system

UX and UI are inseparable parts of the same whole. A coherent interface emerges only when structure, flow, and design language evolve together to serve a shared purpose. A well-defined design language is intuitive, consistent, and meaningful throughout the user journey.

Balancing user needs & business goals

Good design is when user value and business objectives align. I always aim to create experiences that not only solve user problems but also drive long-term business growth and strategic impact.

Intent behind every detail

Even the smallest design decision should have a reason. Every design decision begins with understanding how people think, feel, and act. I continuously map scenarios, edge cases, and behaviors to ensure no interaction is accidental. This attention to detail is what defines me most as a designer.

Research beyond insight

I approach research not just as data collection, but as a way to understand human behavior at its core. My interest in psychology helps me recognize subtle motivations and emotional triggers behind user decisions. I believe this mindset creates genuine value and long-term engagement.
